Of note, bone originates from three different embryonic specifications (noted by a white star). Skin, muscle, tendons and ligaments, and bone arise from different specifications of the sclerotome. Bone marrow adipose tissue originates from paraxial mesoderm, lateral plate mesoderm and neural crest.
