Dear Researchers,
We are delighted to announce a special issue on the topic of " Composite Solutions for Biomedical Advancements" in Biomaterials Translational.
Biomaterials Translational (BMT) is a hybrid international journal focusing on the interface of translational medicine, biomaterials science and engineering. Articles in our journal have been cited by databases like PubMed, Scopus etc.
Composite materials are becoming one of the key tools for addressing a wide range of medical challenges, including technological innovations in medical devices, tissue engineering, and drug delivery. Compared with ceramics, polymers, and metals, composites can integrate the advantages of multiple components to achieve functional diversity and tunability. The objective of this special issue is to provide a platform for sharing the latest research findings and advancements in the field of biomedical composites, bringing together scientists, engineers, and clinicians. We invite authors to explore a wide range of topics related to composite materials, including (but not limited to):
- Preparation and manufacturing techniques for medical composites
- 2. Characterization of medical composites
- Biological property research of medical composites
- Modeling and simulation of medical composites
5.Applications of composites in tissue repair and regenerative medicine
- Applications of composites in drug delivery systems
- Applications of composites in medical devices
Manuscripts submitted for this special issue will undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the highest quality of scientific contributions. During submission, please indicate that your manuscript is intended for the special issue on " Composite Solutions for Biomedical Advancements." Manuscripts should be submitted online at https://www2.cloud.editorialmanager.com/biomater_transl/.
We eagerly await your submissions and are excited to showcase the latest advancements in the field of composite materials and their pivotal role in biomedical field. If you have any questions or require additional information regarding this special issue, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Guest Editors.
